How to Set Up a Facebook and Google+ Plus Page for Your Blogs

1) First I want you guys to create a Fan Page for your blog.  Here are some instructions for that:

I want you to include a profile picture and update all information.

2) I want you to find 10 people to like your page.  It can be classmates, friends, and families, whatever.

3) I want you to install a widget on your blog that links to your Facebook page.

4) Create a Google Plus Page for your blog

5) Add a Google Plus Badge in your Blog. With blogger you go to your layout section, click add a gadget, select "google plus badge" and then configure it.

If you are on WordPress:

Google+ badges use Javascript, which is not allowed on WordPress.com sites for security reasons. You can read more about that here: Code 

However, you can still create a Google+ icon to place on your site. To do that, go to the Google+ badge page, and next to Features select Icon (instead of Badge):https://developers.google.com/+/web/badge/

You can customize the Google+ icon and then paste the code into a Text Widget on your site. Please let me know if you have any questions about that!
